• Biography:

I was born in Angleton, Texas, in 1971. When I was about ten years old, I found a sketch pad full of hand-drawn cartoon illustrations in a pile of boxes when my parents took me to a junk auction one night. I thought they must have been done by a professional, or an art student. That's when I knew I wanted to become an artist.

I've always drawn illustrations and cartoons, and I've been painting since 2001, starting with my studies in fine art at LSU Shreveport. My degree is a BA in Fine Art (2004), with a concentration in Graphic Design. I've been seriously pursuing fine art photography lately, but I still occasionally produce a painting here and there.

I've lived in Shreveport, Louisiana, since 1990. I'm very happily married to my wife of ten years, Danielle, and we have one daughter named Monica, who's fourteen. I work at home, in a converted corner of my kitchen, surrounded by Danielle, Monica, and our two little dogs.

I'm represented by art consulting firms in New York City and Chicago, and from time to time, you can also purchase my work through Uniquely Yours, a retail furniture/home decor store in Shreveport that specializes in postmodern contemporary styles. Reproductions of most of my work are available, and of course I take commissions.
